Jeff has his portrait painted

During a July rehearsal, there was a surprise awaiting Jeff Peterson. Chuck Lawrance, a trumpet player, had painted a portrait of Conductor Peterson and presented it to him at the rehearsal.

Jeff was totally surprised and delighted by the presentation. Chuck, who is multi-talented, painted the portrait in oils, his usual medium and portrayed Jeff in a Maestro outfit.

Chuck has painted others in the band over the last several years.
