Pictures from the elementary school concert series in February

How often does a grandmother play in a band concert with her grandson? Or a father with his son?

The Prime Time Silver Band and Goleta Valley Junior High Jazz Band combined to play concerts for Goleta area 6th graders going into Junior High. The program was to encourage participation in the band program. Jeff Peterson conducts both groups. A surprise in the concerts was the presence of multi-generational family members among the players - both a father and son and a grandmother & grandson had an opportunity to be "in-concert" together.
