Women from the Prime Time Bands contributed hand-knitted scarves to the overseas troops. Lou Dartanner made the two bands aware of the need for supplies to keep our soldiers warm. Nine women were able to knit up scarves on short notice!

KEYT News, our local television station, had a story on the supplies going to the soldiers in Iraq. Included in the coverage was a nice mention of the scarves we all made and a shot of the beautifully wrapped (thanks to Bobbe) packages all boxed up and ready to ship! The television mention aired on November 16, 2004.

We are very proud that these women took the time to knit the nine scarves.
